Knurdz topped the Agentic AI & MCP mini challenge, building intelligent, tool-connected AI systems, while the broader IDEALIZE programme runs as an island-wide mobile and web development competition for Sri Lankan youth.
About the event
IDEALIZE is an all-island mobile app and web development competition run by AIESEC in University of Moratuwa, giving participants mentorship, workshops, and a path from idea to working product. Editions welcome undergraduates and young builders from across Sri Lanka, with judging that rewards innovation, feasibility, and impact.
IDEALIZE 2026 adds a dedicated mini competition focused on Agentic AI and MCP (Model Context Protocol) solutions: a side track where teams compete on the frontier of agent-based software. The main programme continues with proposal, build, and go-to-market stages; the mini competition opens and closes on its own timeline before teams move into later phases.
AIESEC’s global emphasis on leadership, collaboration, and purpose-driven innovation shapes IDEALIZE as both a technical contest and a launchpad for the next generation of Sri Lankan product builders.
